Morrisons has introduced a new fuel offer that might see motorists make huge cost savings at the supermarket’s forecourts.
Rather than the basic ‘5p off per litre when you spend £50’ offer, the supermarket has joined up with 34 other shops in a new loyalty scheme.
Shoppers just get a gift card from Morrisons for one of the partners, including Homebase, Boots, Pizza reveal as well as iTunes, as well as for each £10 they spend get a saving of 1p per litre on fuel.

The supermarket declares that if people are able to plan ahead in their buying or eating out, then they will be able save on fuel costs. For instance if somebody gets a £500 gift card for Homebase, they can insurance claim a saving of 50p per litre. This works out to be a saving of £30 when filling up a vehicle with a 60 litre tank.
It is only currently offered at the stores, though Morrisons declares it will be attempting to get the service working on the internet by 2013.
Buyers are provided a basic shop receipt together with the voucher for fuel. This then has to be utilized within 63 days as well as can only be utilized in one transaction. Motorists only have to show the voucher, not the associated receipt.
The fuel offer is offered across 476 Morrisons stores in the UK, as well as can be redeemed at the company’s 302 petrol stations across the country. It includes all unleaded petrol, diesel as well as LPG.
